Suntory Texas Summer Double

Yellow and blue shining in the sunlight is a color combination hard to beat. Finding yellow flowers is easy, but finding the perfect shade of blue flowers is not. Now you can find perfection on one shrub. Lil' Miss Sunshine is a cross between Petit Bleu and Sunshine Blue caryopteris. She is made for the sunny small garden, giving you shiny yellow foliage all summer long.

Lil' Miss Sunshine's shiny yellow foliage does not fade out in the summer sun. It stays vibrantly yellow all season, casting a glow in its garden space. It becomes the perfect backdrop for the deep amethyst blue flowers covering it in late summer.

Lil' Miss Sunshine is a compact grower and at a mounded 30-36 inches tall, nearly maintenance free. This bluebeard is perfect for the small garden, beside a garden walk, or even will add luster to a container. It adds a shot of bold color to the late summer garden.

Lil' Miss Sunshine is deer resistant, drought tolerant and small enough for a border, container, or perennial garden. She is hardy in USDA zones 5-9. Although she might die back to the ground in the colder areas of her range, just prune her back to the new growth in spring.
