I came home from work to find a FedEx envelope sitting on my doorstep. I didn't recognize the sender's address so I figured it was my new license plates. As I tore the package open I caught a glimpse of an affidavit, which sparked my curiosity. When I finally took out the papers, I began to let out yelps of joy as I discovered I won the trip to Maui! After running around in circles and explaining to my neighbors that those were good screams (nice to know I have protective neighbors) I immediately called my mom as she was the one who told me about the contest. I'm a starving actress and can't afford any tv channels, but luckily my mom watches the show. We both entered, and I won...and yes, I'm taking my mom! :-)

Trip Summary:

What a trip. Everything was handled in a top-notch manner from the day Stacia was first notified of her win. The Wailea Marriott is a gorgeous resort and Maui is pure paradise; however, I must confess that one of the highlights of the trip was meeting the people affiliated with GardenSmart. Everyone was so far beyond "nice" that I can't even think of a word to adequately describe how terrific you all were! In the past I've enjoyed the show because it is informative as well as beautiful to watch; but now I will have an additional fondness for it because of its people. What an awesome group.
