Show #52/1813. New Jersey Country Estate

An Alternative To Gasoline Mowers

54 million Americans mow their lawn each week. A typical gas mower emits 65 pounds of CO2 per year. It's estimated that each year homeowners spill 17 million gallons of gasoline when refueling. By comparison this is 6 million more gallons than were spilled by the Exxon Valdez in Alaska.
There is a new way. The Neuton Mower - an electric/battery powered mower.
Can be plugged into a standard outlet.
It has key, just like a car.
The cutting height can be adjusted.

It has:
An on/off switch
A safety bar
A battery level

It's
Smaller in size and light weight
They're quiet-80 decibels about 1/2 that of gas mowers
Emit virtually no greenhouse gasses
Can be recharged with about 10 cents worth of electricity
Capable of mowing about 1/3 of an acre with a single charge
