Eric notices an Alnus Alder that one might not expect to do well in this type site but it's flourishing. They too are
surprised that it's doing well because it does like water. It shot up like a weed once irrigation was installed, when
that happened it went wild.
August isn’t the end of the pollinator season. As early summer blooms fade, bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and beneficial insects still need steady nectar and pollen to fuel late broods.
