Hydrangeas are one of her favorite flowers, she loves the huge blooms. There are many different kinds but many bloom only once a year for maybe a month. There are new re-blooming hydrangeas that bloom not only in the spring but also in the fall. As far as Pamela knows this is the 1st lace cap, the hydrangea with the flatter flower, that does re-bloom. It has great name - Let's Dance Starlight - and provides much needed color in shade.
