Show #11/3911. Container Gardening Can Be Fun, Even Whimsical
Plants To Consider - A Petunia And A Coleus
Pamela Crawford is a container garden expert and writes books on container gardening. In this video she talks about some of the Proven Winners plants that are doing particularly well in her garden. She excited about the Petunia called Vista Bubble Gum. The reason she likes this plant is because when all the other petunias in her garden have started drooping this plant is still going. She also likes it because even with aggressive plants like Sweet Potato Vine it still makes its way through. Pamela has a lot of Petunias she has tested this summer that have gotten completely covered up when in mixed arrangements, yet this has done particularly well.
Another plant in this planter is a Pink Chaos Coleus. Pamela loves this plant because it's difficult to find Coleus that have pink in their leaves. Most are in the rusty kind of tones or lime kind of tones. So this you should find very useful in the garden. Thanks for joining Pamela.
