Show #33/5307. It's Fall, Time to Think About Grass
Grass Looks Great In Containers
Pamela Crawford is on the site of a GardenSMART Landscape makeover and is discussing some of the grasses she used in this project, both in the landscape and in containers. Red Fountain Grass has been around for a long time. These pennisetums with colored leaves are annuals, meaning they will provide 1 season. Pamela uses them in centerpieces of her container gardens. A new plant is called Fireworks, it has pink leaves and is her favorite of the annual pennisetum grasses. Another plant she uses a lot are the perennial grasses. One is called Bunny Blue. It's a smaller grass and she'll use it as a ground cover in the landscape. It will last many years.
