Suntory Texas Summer Double

Weigelas have been favorites of many gardeners over the years. My Monet is a new addition, low mounding, that only grows 12-18'' tall. It is a deciduous shrub, meaning it drops its leaves in winter. These leaves are worth waiting for. My Monet's foliage is a watercolor-painting combination of cream, green, and white. Its charm shows off best in sunny northern gardens. My Monet weigela is a bit late to leaf out in the spring, so be patient. Use it alone or in combination in a container or as an edging row in front of the perennial border. This is a great little shrub for Northern gardens and is rated for USDA Zones 4-6.
