Suntory Texas Summer Double

Lilacs are one of those flowers with a fragrance that just cannot be replaced with anything else that grows. However, you could only enjoy the sweet smell of lilacs for just a week or two, before the blooms faded away for the season. Not any more. Now there is a lilac that gives months of beautiful, fragrant flowers, blooming not once, but twice. Syringa "Bloomerang®" is the most compact, heaviest-blooming dwarf lilac ever grown.

Even though the Bloomerang® blossoms are small, they carry that heady, full lilac scent straight to your nose and memory. It is also resistant to root rot and mildew. Use it as a single specimen in a pot or as a low hedge in the ground in USDA Zones 3-7. Give it full sun and trim off the spent blossoms to force reblooming. This little shrub will grow to 4-6 feet in the ground, a perfect fit for any sized garden.
