Suntory Texas Summer Double

When you look into a deep red wine, you expect a full, rich body. When you look at Weigela Fine Wine™ you get the same, a full, thick body full of burgundy leaves that don't fade in the summertime sun. The hot pink flowers float on the dark foliage, giving the shrub a claret glow. A light pruning after the first flush of bloom will bring more blossoms later in the season and keep the hummingbirds happy.

You can keep Fine Wine in a container since it only reaches two to four feet tall. It can get to four feet wide in the shrub border. Be sure to plant it in a fully sunny area to get the finest foliage color all season long. Fine Wine™ is best used in USDA Zones 4-8. When established in the ground, it's drought tolerant too, so you can enjoy this vintage even in the dry season.
